Student Welfare
Shia P.G.College, Lucknow strives to maintain the standards of excellence in the field of education. In this regard the college ensures that the best environment exists for all students, irrespective of their ability, religion, culture, gender, sexuality, ethnic origin or class. For this purpose the college has established a STUDENTS WELFARE COMMITTEE to execute polices concerned to welfare of the students.
Student welfare is an important component in the overall Management of student matters. To facilitate efficient provision of the welfare services college adopts several activities such as Youth Festival, NSS activities, organizing college programs, student’s council elections , catering games and sports, cultural activities , security and health sections.

MISSION
To be steadfast in the provision of all students welfare services to the students in order to facilitate smooth functioning of the academic Programs.
OBJECTIVES
●To ensure efficient provision of all welfare services to students.
●To facilitate efficient and effective communication between the student community on one hand and the Administration on the other.
●To ensure the establishment and maintenance if an effective student’s leadership.
●To facilitate the establishment and effective management of all clubs and societies within in the college.
●To offer guidance and counseling in all aspects to students generally and individual students in particular.
●To offer support and facilitate participation of students in co- curricular activities such as games, drama, music, clubs and societies etc.
●To develop and sustain recreational facilities and activities to all students.
●To support the Maintains of standard and the discipline of all students.
●To offer guidance, support and assistance where possible to students with financial difficulties
●Maintain Welfare climates conducive to learning ensure a safe and secure environment where basic needs are met; encourage appropriate forms of behavior; and protect students from harm.
●Develop a realistic and comprehensive self- concept; enhance their self-esteem; develop their interest and abilities.
●Tolerance, understanding and positive interaction is encouraged between all students, as is regard for each other’s privacy and possessions.
OUR STAFF
Our staffs are accustomed to helping people from different backgrounds and cultures and are experienced in dealing with a wide range of personal or study-related issues.
REMEDIAL MEASURES
Remedial measures are special actions designed to:
Assist students toward full participation in the educational program;
Cater for specific learning difficulties; address behavioral problems.
Remediation is an essential part of every teacher's function and is a requirement of the learning process at any level.
The remedial need of students varies. Most can be addressed in the regular classroom situation. Some may require provision such as counseling, the services of teachers with particular skills or special classes.
