The department of Journalism & Mass Communication, which was established in the college in 2012, has been successfully running the Masters program (MJMC) which is immensely popular and attracts a large number of aspirants. Despite its short life, the pass outs of the department have made a place for themselves in the leading media houses of the nation and they represent the college in both print and electronic media. The department boasts of an state-of-the-art Audio-Visual Studio equipped with possibly the finest set up for professional training of students. Our laboratories for sound recording and video editing have a very advance editing console supported by the latest software. In the non-linear editing studio, we have latest electronic equipment and powerful editing software such as Avid and Premier Pro which is just the right infrastructure needed to develop the skills of future journalists.
