I am Dr.Nazim Husain Khan, Asstt.Prof. & HoD, Dept.of Urdu, Shia P.G.College, Lucknow. I belong to Amhat, District Sultanpur, U.P. I got my basic education from Jamia Nasirya, Jaunpur,U.P. and completed my higher education from Jamia Nazmia, Lucknow. I did my graduation from Shia Degree College, Lucknow and Post graduation and Ph.D. from Lucknow University subsequently. I have completed my Ph.D. desertation under the able guidance of Prof. Anis Ashfaq Abidi. The topic of my Ph.D. desertation is "The Literary and Social Importance of Nahjul Balagha in the Light of Urdu Translations". I have taught at Maulana Azad Institute of Humanities and Technology, Mahmoodabad, Sitapur from 2004 to 2008 later on I have taught at Shia P.G. College, Lucknow from 2009 to 2016 at P.G. level. Since most of my education took place in the institutions of Arabic and Persian so I am well-versed in these languages apart from Urdu. My forte is Criticism and I enjoy teaching it. I have also authored a book named "Intekhab e Inteqadiyat" in the field of Criticism. This book is written as per the Lucknow University syllabus. I am fully satisfied with my work and enjoying it and my endeavor is to make Urdu Language a source of employment for the people so that they can get maximum benefit from it.
