About
I am a hard working, energetic and diligent
person, loyal to my institution. I want to have learnt and grown within my
work, to have increased my responsibilities and skills. I enjoy challenge and
would like to know that I am constantly meeting new challenges. My goal is to
be the best at whatever level I am working at.
I am a soft
spoken person with an attitude to help others to solve their problems in
whatever capacity I can. I admire my teachers and parents who taught me about
moral values and encouraged me to achieve my goals in life. I always want to create
awareness, motivate and encourage my students to actively participate in
academic as well as extra-curricular activities for their overall development.
I did my Post-Graduation (1986) and Doctorate (1992) in Statistics from Kanpur University and Lucknow University respectively. I have published 18 Research Papers in National and International Refereed/ Peer Reviewed Journals. I have also participated/ presented papers in many National and International Conferences and Seminars. I attended various Workshops and Training Programmes in my career as a teacher. I also delivered Invited Talks/ Lectures on different topics in different institutions.
I actively participated in Academic as well as Administrative Work and held different positions like Chief Proctor, Examination Superintendent, Admission Coordinator, Member IQAC, Coordinator of Post Graduation Course in Statistics, Convener, Add On Course in Research Methodology and Programme Officer of NSS and Extension Activities etc.
Presently I am working as Associate Professor in Statistics having 32 Years of teaching and research experience.
